Your Role as Business Analyst

Requirement Gathering:

  • Work with stakeholders, including business users, project managers, and technical teams, to gather and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements

  • Translate business needs into clear and concise technical requirements for development teams

Feasibility Analysis:

  • Perform detailed feasibility analysis to assess the practicality and viability of proposed solutions

  • Analyse costs, benefits, risks, and potential impacts of implementing new solutions or changes

Process Documentation:

  • Document current business processes through process mapping and flowcharts to create a clear understanding of workflows

  • Identify inefficiencies, gaps, and opportunities for improvement in existing processes

Solution Design:

  • Collaborate with development teams, architects, and stakeholders to design solutions that meet business requirements

  • Ensure the proposed solutions are aligned with business objectives and are scalable, efficient, and user-friendly

Responsibilities

Attributes

  • 2-5 years of experience in a business analysis role, preferably in the accounting or financial services industry

  • Strong understanding of business processes and systems analysis

  • Experience with requirement gathering techniques, including interviews, workshops, and document analysis

  • Ability to perform feasibility studies, including cost-benefit analysis and risk assessment
