Introduction

Dains Group is committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in all its forms.  The Group provides a range of professional services including (but not limited to) assurance, tax, and advisory to clients of all sizes.

We recognise our responsibility to ensure that our services, business operations and supply chains are free from such practices.

We conduct thorough due diligence when engaging with suppliers and business partners to ensure they share our commitment to combating modern slavery.

We provide training and awareness programmes to our employees to educate them about the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking and how to identify and report any concerns.

We strive to work with suppliers who uphold ethical standards and comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

We conduct regular assessments of our supply chain to identify any potential risks of modern slavery and human trafficking. 

If we were to identify any concerns, we would take appropriate actions, including engaging with suppliers to address the issues and, if necessary, terminating the relationship.

We encourage our employees, suppliers, and stakeholders to report any suspicions or concerns related to modern slavery and human trafficking.

We would investigate all reported concerns promptly and take appropriate action based on the findings. 

We comply with all relevant legislation and regulations related to modern slavery and human trafficking.

We regularly review and update our policies and procedures to ensure their effectiveness in preventing modern slavery and human trafficking.

We engage with industry initiatives and collaborate with other firms within the UK200 Group to share best practice and improve our approach.

This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes our firm’s commitment to combating modern slavery and human trafficking.
