Your role as Audit Senior

You will be at the forefront of delivering exceptional service to our clients. You'll have the opportunity to work across various client groups and sectors throughout the East Midlands, gaining exposure to diverse service needs and honing your skills. From supervising the audit team to providing leadership and guidance to junior members, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of your projects.

 Responsibilities as Audit Senior:

  • You will take ownership for the audit of a client reporting directly to the Manager, Director or Partners.

  • Confidently supervise an audit team, providing leadership, guidance and support to junior team members as required.

  • You will prepare audit files to the required standard.

  • Preparation of statutory and non-statutory accounts.

  • You will delegate assignments and supervise junior members of staff, followed by reviewing the work performed.

  • Drafting of journals requires you to understand fairly complex accounting principles.

  • The completion of the assignment in accordance with the budget with any variations being promptly recorded.

  • You will perform detailed technical work and be instrumental in the delivery of service to clients, in a supportive manner.
