Wellness

The wellbeing of our employees and their ability to balance work and home life is paramount to us. Therefore, we work hard to protect their mental health and wellbeing. Our company has policies and procedures in place, and we have a free Employee Assistance Programme that gives practical and emotional support to employees.

We’re committed to staff health and wellness, so we have several Mental Health First Aiders at the firm and recently added mental wellbeing content to our established Wellbeing Centre on our intranet.

Dains in the Community

Partners and staff at Dains care deeply about giving back to the community where we live and work. Our company prides itself on its people-focused values and is always mindful of the impact its activities might have on others. As a firm, we want whatever we are doing to have only positive effects on our people, our clients and suppliers, our environment, and our community.

As a result, we formed “Dains in the Community” in 2006, a team responsible for bringing our corporate responsibility agenda to life and promoting its importance across all parts of the company.

Recognition

The Reward & Recognition Scheme was introduced to reward employees for going beyond their normal duties. Each month, employees can nominate a colleague for Superstar of the Month, then our Practice Management Committee evaluates the submissions and selects a worthy winner. Each Superstar of the Month receives a £50 voucher to spend on our discounted shopping platform.

Throughout the year, we recognise and show our appreciation to additional colleagues who contribute to the success of the firm and who also live our values through working and succeeding together and valued relationships.
