This is a permanent, full-time position 09.00 – 17.15 Monday to Friday and based in our Burton office and will provide you with the skills to support your development.

Your Role as Administrative Apprentice

Responsibilities

  • You will work towards completing your NVQ qualification which is fully funded by Dains

  • You will be working closely with internal teams to assist with specific client administration

  • You will be effective in the operation of grant applications and approval processes for a varied client base with support of senior members of the team

  • You will work closely with the team to accurately produce client correspondence, meeting notes, reports and any other required documents using appropriate software

  • You will support internal and external meeting arrangements, helping to provide first class client service for visitors to the office

  • Undertaking general office administrative duties such as photocopying, scanning and sorting mail

Attributes

  • You need to be confident in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

  • Minimum Grade C in Maths and English at GCSE

  • Good oral and written communication skills with a professional manner

  • Ability to work in a deadline-oriented environment and deliver quality administration

  • Willing to study towards your fully funded NVQ qualification

  • Ability to use and learn internal software and systems
